Why should I choose My Personal Garage to store my car?

We felt called to raise the bar for the car storage experience when we decided to start MPG.  We are car-lovers, and we are committed to taking care of the cars entrusted to our care as if they were our own cars.  We take this responsibility very seriously.  Our top priorities are your PRIVACY (no public access or private events), SECURITY, and CAR CARE.  We offer a level of car care and handling beyond what you will find at other garages.

What storage services do you offer?

Your car will be stored in a low-humidity, air-conditioned, and heated environment.  We'll keep your battery charged and maintained with a battery tender.  We'll keep your tires pressurized to maintain roundness.  These are all part of the standard package.  If you are buying or selling a car and need short-term parking space, you can store a car for a daily fee.  Finally, we can store your spare set of wheels and tires and car parts for a small fee.

Tell me more about your focus on privacy.

We are very protective of our garage and the cars entrusted to us.  We dislike publicity.  We're sensitive to who knows where the garage is located and who is allowed to see inside of it.  The garage address is not posted on our website or any online maps.  We believe that no one outside of you and us should know where your car is.  Unlike other car storage facilities, our garage is not open to the public.  No parties, photo-shoots, and other events will be held here.  All visits by anyone are by appointment only.  All first-time visitors are vetted before being invited to the garage.

Tell me about your security.

We provide secure storage in a sign-less private building on a multi-acre property far away from high-traffic public roads.  The property is gated, and the property owner lives and works on-site.  The garage is monitored by HD cameras, both inside and outside, with continuous monitoring of the facility.  Unlike other garages, since we do not allow public access or private events on-site, no one but MPG staff and you are allowed near or in your car.

During what hours will I have access to my vehicle?

You may pick up or drop off your car by appointment any day of the week, 7 am to 9 pm.  Appointments should be made at least 24 hours before desired pick-up/drop-off time so we can plan ahead.  If appointment is requested with less than 24 hours of notice, unless we are already planning to be at the garage, there will be a small convenience fee.

What services other than vehicle storage do you provide?

We offer a number of services unique to us which we think you'll find useful and interesting.  We can discuss these with you in person.  For some cars we provide custom-tailored services based on the car owner's specific requests and needs for their special car.

Does your garage have insurance?

Yes, indeed.  Our policy includes Garage Keepers insurance (for the cars), building insurance (for the garage), and business liability insurance (for the business).

I have an extra set of wheels/tires and car parts.  May I store them at MPG?

Yes, of course.  We love to do this, and our clients appreciate saving space in their home garage.  You can rent one or more sections to store your stuff at $20/month per section (which is 4' x 4' x 4').

What kinds of vehicles can be stored at MPG?

At this time, MPG is dedicated to storing and caring for cars only.  No electric cars are allowed at this time.  We will offer storage of trucks and other types of vehicles in the near future.

Do you hold any public or private events at MPG?

No.  None.  Never.  Your privacy and the protection of your car are two of our utmost concerns.  We believe that no one outside of you and us should know what your car is, where it is, and be allowed near it.

Who is allowed inside the garage?

Only MPG staff, clients storing cars in the garage, and first-time visitors who have been vetted before being invited to the garage.

Who is allowed near or inside of my car?

Unlike other storage facilities, no one but MPG staff and you are allowed near or inside of your car.

​

Do I need to sign a long-term contract?

No.  There is no long-term contract.  The vehicle owner and MPG will sign a month-to-month client services agreement which can be cancelled by either party with 30 days' notice.

Do you provide local transportation for pick-up and drop-off of my car at my residence?

We can recommend a trusted local carrier to do this for you.

​

What services do you offer to maintain my car and make sure it is ready for me to drive when I pick it up?

We'll keep your battery charged and maintained with a battery tender.  We'll keep your tires pressurized to maintain roundness.  The tire pressures will be rechecked before you pick up your car.  Several other important checks will be made to ensure your car is ready for your next driving adventure.

Do you have any promotions in effect right now?

Yes, we do.  Tell your friends and family about MPG!  If you tell a friend about us and your friend decides to store his or her car at MPG, you will receive a $300 referral bonus after three months of storage.
